1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Church Growth Plugin, developed by e-Church Digital.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Church Growth Plugin and its associated Google Search Console connection service.

By installing, connecting, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the service on behalf of a church, ministry, nonprofit organization, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of that organization.

2. Description of the Service

Church Growth Plugin is a WordPress application designed to help churches and ministries understand their visibility in Google Search.

The application provides simplified access to selected Google Search Console information, including:

• Google Search impressions.
• Google Search clicks.
• Click-through rate.
• Average search position.
• Search queries associated with the website.
• Suggested blog and content opportunities.

The service may connect to Google through the e-Church Digital Connection Hub, which manages authorized Google connections and retrieves available reporting information.

The availability of individual features may depend on the plugin version, the connection method selected, the user’s authorization, and the information available through Google Search Console.

3. Google Search Console Authorization

Church Growth Plugin requires authorization from a Google account with appropriate access to the Search Console property being connected.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have permission to access and use the selected website’s Search Console information.

The application requests read-only Search Console access.

Depending on the available connection method, an authorized WordPress administrator may initiate Google authorization directly from the Church Growth Plugin dashboard.

The e-Church Digital Connection Hub may securely associate the authorized Google connection with the corresponding registered WordPress website.

The connection service checks the selected website’s identity and approved Search Console property before supplying an authorized report to that WordPress installation.

Users may revoke Google’s authorization through their Google Account settings.

Revoking access may prevent the application from retrieving updated reporting information.

If a Google account does not have access to the required Search Console property, the application’s reporting features may remain unavailable until the appropriate access is granted.

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate website and connection information.
• Connect only websites they are authorized to manage.
• Maintain appropriate security for their WordPress accounts.
• Protect their Google account credentials.
• Use the service for lawful purposes.
• Respect the rights and privacy of other users and organizations.

Users must not attempt to access another church’s Search Console information, interfere with the connection service, or bypass its authorization controls.

Users must not knowingly provide misleading website ownership information or attempt to impersonate another registered WordPress installation.

Church administrators are responsible for managing the WordPress accounts and permissions of people authorized to access their Church Growth Plugin dashboard.

5. Search Performance Information

Search performance statistics are supplied by Google Search Console.

Google may delay, aggregate, filter, or omit certain search information.

As a result, the statistics displayed by Church Growth Plugin may differ from other analytics platforms or from website visitor counts.

Average search position is not a fixed ranking for a website or keyword.

A new website may not have search-performance information available for the selected reporting period.

When Google does not return report information, Church Growth Plugin may display an explanation rather than impressions, clicks, keywords, or content opportunities.

The application does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of information supplied by third-party services.

6. Blog and Content Opportunities

Church Growth Plugin may generate suggested blog topics and content ideas using available Search Console queries.

These suggestions are intended to assist pastors, church administrators, and ministry media teams in planning useful website content.

They are not official recommendations from Google.

Users are responsible for reviewing suggested topics, checking existing content, verifying factual accuracy, and deciding what to publish.

Church Growth Plugin does not guarantee first-page rankings, increased website traffic, membership growth, donations, or other specific results.

7. Third-Party Services

The application depends on WordPress, Google OAuth, Google Search Console, hosting infrastructure, and the e-Church Digital Connection Hub.

Service functionality may be affected by changes to these platforms, their APIs, security requirements, usage limits, or availability.

Google services remain subject to Google’s applicable terms and policies.

Church Growth Plugin is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.

8. Service Availability

We work to maintain a reliable connection service. However, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting interruptions, API limitations, security incidents, or changes to third-party platforms.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or continued operation.

If the Connection Hub cannot verify a website’s active Google authorization, the plugin may temporarily pause reporting until the connection can be confirmed.

Previously cached Search Console reports may also be withheld when the service confirms that the associated Google connection has been disconnected.

A website may need to reconnect Google, obtain access to the appropriate Search Console property, or register a new connection before reporting can resume.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection, processing, storage, and use of information are described in our Privacy Policy.

By connecting Google Search Console, you authorize the application to process information necessary to provide the requested reporting features.

Church Growth Plugin and the e-Church Digital Connection Hub may process website addresses, connection identifiers, approved Search Console properties, Google authorization information, and reporting data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disconnecting Google and Removing Connection Data

Disconnecting Google, permanently removing a Connection Hub registration, and clearing locally stored WordPress connection information are separate actions.

Disconnecting Google

Users may withdraw authorization through their Google Account settings.

Manage Google Account Connections

Authorized church administrators may also request assistance from e-Church Digital with disconnecting the Google authorization associated with their registered website.

When Google is disconnected through the Connection Hub, the WordPress installation’s secure pairing may remain in place so the administrator can reconnect later.

A disconnected Google account may prevent the plugin from retrieving or displaying Search Console reports until authorization is restored.

Permanently Removing a Connection Hub Registration

An authorized church administrator may request permanent removal of the website’s connection information from the e-Church Digital Connection Hub.

The hub administrator’s removal process is designed to remove the selected website’s registry record, stored pairing credentials, approved Search Console property, and locally stored Google authorization token.

The process also requests Google token revocation when available.

Permanent hub removal ends the website’s existing pairing. A church that wishes to use the service again must register a new connection.

Removing Local WordPress Connection Information

Church Growth Plugin may provide authorized WordPress administrators with controls to clear locally cached reports and temporary diagnostics without removing an otherwise active connection.

After the Connection Hub no longer recognizes a website’s stored pairing, a separate full local-removal control may become available.

The full local-removal process is designed to clear the plugin’s saved hub identity and pairing credentials, locally stored direct Google settings, selected Search Console property, reporting configuration, cached reports, and temporary diagnostics.

These controls concern Church Growth Plugin connection information. They do not delete the WordPress website itself, its posts, pages, or unrelated plugins.

Information Not Automatically Removed

Disconnecting Google or using the hub-side and local removal controls does not automatically erase data retained in hosting backups, database backups, server logs, or systems outside the specific removal process.

Removing local plugin settings also does not automatically revoke a separately authorized direct Google connection. Users may need to revoke that authorization through their Google Account settings.

Information retained in backups or logs remains subject to applicable retention arrangements, legal requirements, and technical limitations.

11. Intellectual Property

The Church Growth Plugin name, branding, website content, and original documentation belong to their respective rights holders.

The software is distributed under the license terms included with the applicable plugin release.

Nothing in these Terms of Service overrides the rights granted under the plugin’s open-source software license.

Google and WordPress names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

12. No Guarantee of Results

Church Growth Plugin is a reporting and content-planning tool.

It does not guarantee improved Google rankings, additional website visitors, ministry growth, new church members, or financial outcomes.

Results depend on many factors outside the application’s control, including website content, technical configuration, competition, search behavior, and changes to Google’s systems.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every WordPress installation, hosting environment, or third-party platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, e-Church Digital is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, interruptions, third-party API changes, or reliance on reporting and content suggestions.

This provision does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Changes to These Terms and Contact Information

We may revise these Terms of Service as the application develops or applicable requirements change.

The effective date at the beginning of this document will indicate the latest revision.

Material changes may be communicated through our website or application where appropriate.

Continued use of the service after updated terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
