ImpressionsNot available for this period
What is it?
The number of times YouTube showed your thumbnail in placements that count toward impressions. It does not mean every viewer noticed it.
Why does it matter?
It helps you understand how often people had a chance to see your video. A small number of impressions does not automatically mean the thumbnail is poor.
Use a clear title and thumbnail that show people why your video is worth watching. This number may take time to appear.

Impressions CTRNot available for this period
What is it?
CTR estimates the percentage of eligible thumbnail impressions that led to a view.
Why does it matter?
It can help you evaluate whether the title, thumbnail, and people seeing your video are a good match. It is not a standalone quality score.
Make sure your thumbnail is easy to read and your title tells viewers what they will gain. Try changing one thing at a time.
Views
What is it?
Views count how many times people watched this video according to YouTube's reporting rules during the selected date range.
Why does it matter?
Views indicate activity, but don't tell you whether people stayed or where they discovered the video.
Views tell you how often people watched. Also check the average view duration to see whether they stayed.
Watch Time16.0 min
What is it?
The total amount of time people spent watching this video during your selected period.
Why does it matter?
Views tell you how many times people watched. Watch Time helps you understand how much time people spent with your message.
Give viewers a reason to keep watching. Deliver on your title and thumbnail early, and keep the teaching clear and useful throughout the video.
Average view duration 01:33
What is it?
The average time a view contributed during the selected reporting period.
Why does it matter?
It helps you understand whether viewers stay after clicking. To interpret it fairly, compare it with the video's full length and audience-retention pattern.
In the first 30 seconds, show viewers that your video will deliver what the title and thumbnail promised. Get to the main point quickly, then keep giving them reasons to watch.
Lessons are general educational guidance, not automated conclusions about thumbnail quality. Reporting dates, audience, traffic source, and video length matter.
